Find out more about the hardware Hayai provides & if your existing devices will work with Hayai or not

Almost any* broadband router you can purchase on the open market will be compatible with Hayai's FTTx services (except devices with ADSL/VDSL modems), however Hayai does maintain a short list of device brands and model numbers which we strongly recommend avoiding - reasons for avoiding are usually provided below.

Residential: Typically not. We have a Dynamic DNS service available which is compatible with most clients and several routers.

Business: Businesses may be assigned a singular address or subnet. The network administrator will need to fill out an IP justification form. Pricing may vary according to the block size. Alternatively, businesses can available of Hayai's Dynamic DNS service which is compatible with most clients and several routers.

IPv6:

This depends on the plan you subscribe to and what provider you were with before:

The advertising terminology used by ISPs around the world often confuses customers because it is different to the unit of measurement used by your computer when you're downloading a file.

Definitely - so long as it's compatible.

Some Hayai services may include a CPE/modem in the price of the service, and you are welcome to connect your own equipment to it (you will get instructions on how it will need to be set up), but if you have a router of your own that you wish to use, there are a couple of conditions:

If there is intentional damage or misuse, then you will have to pay for a replacement at cost.

If there is damage from other factors (such as fire, water or other accidental damage), this should be covered by your insurance, otherwise you will have to pay for a replacement at cost.
